RIP Sweet Jordan

On the 29 January 2008 I had to say goodbye to 'Jordan' (Gr Ch Rivelino I Can Woo Magic) who was struck down with a very aggressive gastric carcinoma. 'Jordan' was only 10 years old. I can hardly believe that from the onset of his illness he was gone within 3 1/2 weeks.

Some of you may remember my beautiful 'Jordan' who would be one of the youngest Grand Champion shih tzu in New Zealand (2 years and 3 months), he had the most wonderful show career for many years right up until I retired him.

'Jordan' can also be proud that he was the sire, grand sire and great grand sire of Best in Show winners here in New Zealand and in Australia.

But 'Jordan' will be remembered by me forever as the most perfect loving friend I have ever had. We were destined to be together, I always believed that from the day I brought him home.

I feel so privileged to have spent the last 10 years with this amazing shih tzu who excelled as a show dog, stud dog and a much loved member of my family.

Thankyou to everyone who have supported me through this dreadful ordeal this last month, I will never forget how you have kept me going through this heartbreaking loss.

Also to all the vets who tried so hard to help 'Jordan' but the cancer was too aggressive.

I had two weeks to say my goodbyes to 'Jordan', for that I am very grateful.

'Sharlette' was a Multi group and In Show winner and titled very easily. She produced a Best in Show (All Breeds) winning daughter here in New Zealand, her grandaughter won Reserve Best In Show (All Breeds) at the tender age of 8.5 months.
